Why is there a supplement for single travellers?

The cost of coach travel is per person, but it is standard practice for hotels to charge a supplement for single occupancy. This is because the cost of heating, lighting and cleaning the room etc is the same regardless of if one or two people are occupying it. Look out for our holidays with no single supplement.

What is my luggage allowance?

Each person may bring a maximum of 20kg of luggage. For those travelling together, please ensure each case does not weigh more than 20kg so that our Drivers are able to load your luggage by hand. Please pack a separate overnight bag if your holiday includes overnight ferry crossings as you will not be able to access your suitcase once we board the ferry.  Please also remember any medication you may require.

Will you send me a reminder when my balance is due?

No. Your balance due date is printed on your confirmation and invoice, this is usually 10 weeks before departure. Please note that we will not automatically deduct your balance from your credit card. Please contact us to make a payment, or if you have booked your holiday on our website you can login to pay online.

Why do I need insurance?

We offer travel insurance tailored for coach holidays in partnership with Wrightsure. Travel insurance can give you peace of mind and cover for a range of things that could happen when you're travelling. You’ll find a price for travel insurance inclusive of Insurance Premium Tax upon making a booking online or within our brochure. This will cover you for cancellation and curtailment, medical repatriation expenses, loss of personal effects and money. If you’d like to know the full details about the cover provided please contact us. Alternatively you may wish to arrange your own insurance.

Do I need a passport?

Passports are required for all holidays to Europe and the Republic of Ireland. When travelling to Jersey or Guernsey you will need to bring any form of photo ID.

What if I need to cancel my holiday?

If you decide to cancel a holiday with us, cancellation charges are payable on a sliding scale, depending on how much notice you give us. If you are insured against cancellation you may be able to recover the charges from your insurers. Alternatively you can transfer your booking to someone else. Please refer to our T&Cs for more information.

Day Trips

Pick-up routes and feeder services

To reduce the pick-up times to a minimum, pick-up points in the Portsmouth, Southsea, Gosport, Stubbington & Lee-on-the-Solent areas may be operated by a feeder coach, minibus or taxi service which will take passengers to meet the main coach. Pick-up times are subject to change and any affected passengers will be notified approximately 5 days prior to departure.

Are entrance tickets included in the price?

Entrance fees are included except where stated. If you have your own tickets for an event or wish to visit friends or family somewhere don’t forget that ‘Fare Only’ prices are often available. Please contact us if a coach only fare is not stated. National Trust (NT), English Heritage (EH) and RHS members should also check for a discounted fare on any tours including visits to properties belonging to these groups but don’t forget that you will need to have your membership card with you when you travel!

Do you provide car parking?

Unfortunately we don’t have parking available for passengers, however we do offer pick up points that are located near to car parks. Please contact us and our team may be able to advise you. 

Can I use a child seat on your coach?

Children that use a child seat in a car, are not legally required to do so in a coach. Car seats are not designed for coach seats and will not fit securely. All coaches are fitted with seat belts for your safety.


Can I book specific seats online?

When booking online, seats will be allocated automatically, but can be changed by clicking the allocated seat to select it and then clicking your chosen seat, providing they are not already occupied. Seats are not able to be chosen during our Door to Door pick up service

Can I book through an agent?

Yes, we have a number of local travel agents across the country. To find your nearest agent, please visit the list by clicking here.

What do tour escorts do?

Much of the success of our trips is attributed to the helpfulness and courteousness of our friendly Drivers and Tour Escorts. Please note our Escorts are not professional tour guides but are committed to ensuring you enjoy your day out. They are there to assist passengers whenever needed and to ensure your comfort and safety throughout the trip.  

Will there be a toilet on board?

Yes, all our holiday coaches have a toilet, but we’ll also take regular comfort breaks.

Can I bring a wheelchair, mobility scooter or walker?

Those with mobility difficulties are very welcome on our holidays, however it’s important that you let us know at the time of booking if you’d like to bring a wheelchair, scooter, or walker. Please see our Accessibility page for more information

I have a special request, how can I add it to my booking?

We’ll do our best to fulfil any requests that you have, but we cannot guarantee that they will be fulfilled. If your request is essential to the enjoyment of your holiday, please ensure that you tell us at the time of booking.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes, our gift vouchers are available in denominations of £5, £10, £20 and £50, and can be redeemed against any of our holidays or day trips.

Will there be COVID-19 restrictions on my trip?

Whilst there are no government restrictions relating to Covid-19, some attractions and hotels still have in place heightened safety measures. Your driver or escort will advise you of these whilst you are travelling with us.  If your trip is overseas, including the Channel Islands and the Isle of man, there may be additional COVID-19 travel measures in place, including the need for either a negative test or vaccination status. Please check the UK Government website for the most up-to-date travel requirements.  We cannot be held liable for customers who do not meet COVID-19 travel requirements.

Why have you rebranded?

We are bringing together the brilliance of seven coach holiday companies from across the UK with the backing of National Express. These brands are Lucketts Travel, Coliseum Coaches, Mortons Travel, Solent Coaches, Worthing Coaches, Woods Coaches and Stewarts Tours.  As such, our new name and branding reflects the combination of this proud heritage and our modern approach.

I booked my trip through a different brand (eg. Lucketts or Woods), what will happen to my booking?

Your booking will seamlessly transfer over to Touromo without you needing to do anything. There will be no changes to the holiday or day trip you have booked. However, all future communications will be branded Touromo rather than the brand that you booked with.

What happens to my account?

Existing customers will be able log into the Touromo website with the same username and password as on our old websites (Lucketts, Woods, Stewarts, Coliseum, Solent, Worthing & Mortons). However, no bookings for any brand other than Lucketts will be visible in your account. New customers will be able to create their own Touromo account on the website. 

What kind of coach will I be on?

At present our trips continue to be operated by a number of coach operators in the Touromo family including Lucketts Travel, Coliseum Coaches, Mortons Travel, Solent Coaches, Worthing Coaches, Woods Coaches and Stewarts Tours. We will slowly transition the coaches over to the Touromo brand and as such you may not be travelling on a Touromo branded coach on your holiday or day trip. However, your driver will wear a Touromo uniform and all other materials will come from Touromo.
